राष्ट्रीय मुक्त विद्यालयी शिक्षा संस्थान (NIOS, Nios online admission), भारत के मुक्त विद्यालयों की शिक्षा-परिषद है। यह एक स्वायत्त संगठन है। इसकी स्थापना भारत सरकार के मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा 1989 के नवम्बर में हुई थी। इसका उद्देश्य देश के सुदूरवर्ती क्षेत्रों के विद्यार्थियों को सस्ती शिक्षा सुलभ कराना है। केन्द्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा परिषद (सीबीएसई) और भारतीय स्कूल सर्टिफिकेट परीक्षा परिसद (CISCE) बोर्डो के समकक्ष स्तर पर पूर्व स्नातक स्तर तक के लिए परीक्षायें आयोजित करता है और प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान करता हैं |माध्यमिक और उच्च माध्यमिक स्तर पर छात्रों के वर्तमान नामांकन के साथ यह दुनिया में सबसे बड़ी खुली स्कूली शिक्षा प्रणाली है जो भारत में मौजूद है।

Supporting Documents required……
The learner has to be ready with the Scanned copy/soft copy (jpg, jpeg files) of the given below
documents which will be required to be uploaded while registering for the Admission to Secondary
and Senior Secondary courses
- Recent Passport size color Photograph
- Signature (preferably in Black Ink)
- Valid identity proof (like Aadhaar Card or Passport or Ration card or etc.)
- Secondary: The minimum age to take admission in the Secondary Course is 14 years.
- Class 8th/9th SLC/T.C [in case of secondary course(10th)] or class 10th Marksheet [in case of senior secondary course (12th)]
- Sr. Secondary: The minimum age to take admission in the Senior Secondary Course is 15 years.

In order to take admission in the Senior Secondary course, the learner must have passed the Secondary
course from a recognised Board. - Valid proof of Date of Birth (like Aadhaar Card with date of birth printed on it in the dd/mm/yyyy format, Birth Certificate etc.) if living in rented accommodation – copy of any proof of permanent address along with present Rented Agreement.

Social category/Caste certificate (in case the learner belongs to SC/ST/OBC social category). -
Fail Mark sheet of previous Board, failing which Transfer of Credit (TOC) marks will not be updated in
NIOS result. If TOC Board marked with (*Other) is selected then the Result should be available on the
Concerned Board Website or Learner has to submit result verification letter from Concerned Board as

ON-DEMAND EXAMINATION FOR CLASS Xth or XIIth On Demand Examination System (ODES)
is an examination facility provided by NIOS to its learners other than public examinations. A learner
can appear under the ODES as and when ready for the examination after first public examination.
A learner can apply online for ODES and can choose a date of examination as per convenience.
ODES examinations are conducted in all Regional Centres on monthly basis and as per number
of seats available.Candidates can also appear for NIOS on demand Examination system where they
can select the dates of the exam provided seats are available on selected days of every month and
appear for the exam. Results are made available within 45 days.
On-Demand परीक्षा का आयोजन प्रत्येक माह किया जाता हैं सार्वजनिक परीक्षा के कारण डिमांड परीक्षा अप्रैल – मई और अक्टूबर – नवंबर के दौरान आयोजित नहीं किया जाता हैं। On-Demand का रजिस्ट्रेशन ऑनलाइन किया जाता हैं | Visit : https://sdmis.nios.ac.in/| On-Demand परीक्षा के माध्यम से CBSE या अन्य बोर्ड के विद्धार्थी अगर दो विषय मे पास हैं तो वह दो विषयों का क्रेडिट लेकर शेष तीन विषयों का एग्जाम पास कर प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त कर सकता हैं। (CBSE या अन्य बोर्ड के विद्धार्थी अगर दो से अधिक विषयों मे पास है तब भी उसे कम से काम तीन विषय का एग्जाम देना ही होगा।)On Demand Exam sheet availability की जानकारी के लिये नीचे दिये गये लिंक पर क्लिक करें। https://sdmis.nios.ac.in/registration/exam-center-seats
Instructions: Your admission can be rejected even at later stage if:

In case required supporting documents are missing. -
In case false documents or incomplete information or wrong information is submitted. -
In case a candidate conceals/hides the requisite information. -
In case required educational qualifications or the minimum age criterion is not fulfilled. -
In case the Secondary examination is not passed from a recognised Board.
NOTE : Admission once cancelled will not be re-considered.
Fee will not be refunded in such cases.Fee payment mode for Online Admission There will be two options for the payment of fee.
(A) The fee can be deposited Online through Credit Card /Debit Card/Net Banking.
Note: In addition to above Fee, Rs. 50/- (Rs. Fifty Only) will be added as cost of online
Application Form for all Streams (Stream 1, 2, 3 and 4).
एडमिशन से लेकर परीक्षा तक ध्यान रखने योग्य बातें :
1. ADMISSION फॉर्म भरते समय सिर्फ एडमिशन फीस जमा होता हैं। EXAM फीस अलग से जमा करना होता हैं।
2. ADMISSION फॉर्म भरने के कुछ दिन बाद आप अपना ADMISSION STATUS जरूर चेक करें।
3. ADMISSION STATUS चेक करने के उपरांत त्रुटि पाये जाने पर तुरंत शॉर्टआउट करा लें।
4. अगर आपका अड्मिशन कन्फर्म हो गया है तो आप अपना स्टूडेंट ID CARD डाउनलोड कर लें। कुछ दिनों किताबें घर पर आ जायेगी अगर नहीं आती है तो अपने पोस्ट ऑफिस मे पता करें।
5. बिना EXAM फीस भरे आपको एग्जाम मे बैठने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। EXAM फीस ONLINE अक्टूबर EXAM के लिए जून मे और अप्रैल EXAM के लिए जनवरी मे सब्मिट होता हैं।
6 . EXAM से पहले Tutor Marked Assignment File अपने निर्धारित तारीख (अक्टूबर EXAM के लिए 31जुलाई और अप्रैल EXAM के लिए 31 जनवरी ) तक जमा करा दें। अन्यथा आपको TMA अंक नहीं मिलेगा।
7. EXAM से पहले डेटशीट और हॉल टिकट (एडमिट कार्ड ) जरूर प्रिंटआउट कर लें। ताकि एग्जाम की तारीख और एग्जाम सेंटर के बारे में पता चल सके।
8. Exam देने के बाद आप अपना रिजल्ट का इंतजार करें। अपना रिजल्ट देखने के लिये यँहा क्लीक करें। यह जानकारी आपको स्वयं निओस के वेबसाइट पर पता करते रहना हैं निओस की ओर से कोई SMS या कॉल नहीं आता हैं। इसलिए आप किसी एक्सपर्ट्स से सहायता ले सकते हैं |

- क्या NIOS से प्राप्त माध्यमिक 10वी और 12वी उच्चतर माध्यमिक प्रमाणपत्र को वही मान्यत प्राप्त है जो अन्य बोर्डो को प्राप्त है ?
Ans. Yes ! NIOS से प्राप्त माध्यमिक 10 (वी) और 12 (वी) उच्चतर माध्यमिक प्रमाणपत्र को वही मान्यत प्राप्त है जो अन्य बोर्डो को प्राप्त है ANIOS को दिनांक 14 September 1990 में भारत सरकार के संकल्प के तहत पर सार्वजानिक परीक्षा आयोजित करने का प्राधिकार प्राप्त है| इसके अतरिक्त NIOS सहित सभी बोर्ड चाहे वे राष्ट्रीय बोर्ड हो या राज्य बोर्ड राष्ट्रीय पाठयचर्या फ्रेमवर्क,2005 का अनुसरण कर रहे है अतः NIOS के माध्यमिक 10 (वी) और 12 (वी) उच्चतर माध्यमिक स्तर के प्रमाणपत्र अन्य बोर्डो माध्यमिक और उच्चतर माध्यमिक स्तर के प्रमाणपत्र और उनके समान है|
(b) क्या NIOS से उत्तीर्ण माध्यमिक स्तर का शिक्षार्थीयो किसी अन्य बोर्डो में बारहवीं कक्षा में प्रवेश ले सकता है?
Ans. Yes ! चूंकि NIOS सहित राष्ट्रीय और राज्य स्तर के सभी बोर्ड NCERT द्धारा निर्मित राष्ट्रीय पाठ्यक्रम फ्रेमवर्क,2005 का अनुसरण कर रहे है | इसलिय NIOS से माध्यमिक स्तर की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने वाला शिक्षार्थी किसी अन्य बोर्डो में बारहवीं कक्षा में प्रवेश प्राप्त करने योग्य है |(b) क्या NIOS से उच्चतर माध्यमिक स्तर की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने वाला शिक्षार्थी विश्वविधालय या व्यवसायिक collage में प्रवेश प्राप्त करने योग्य है |Ans. Yes ! NIOS का शिक्षार्थी किसी अन्य विश्वविधालय या व्यवसायिक collage में प्रवेश प्राप्त करने योग्य है | यदि वह उन विश्वविधालय या व्यवसायिक collage के योग्यत मानदंड को पूरा करता है|
